Meridian Automation & Communication, Inc. is a specialty supplier of industrial services. We provide instrument and electrical technicians as well as installation services for our customers established in the Charleston, SC area.

Some of our specific services include the following:

Maintenance Services – Meridian can supply supplemental or dedicated maintenance service for short-term or long-term requirements. Technicians placed on these assignments are full-time, fully-benefited Meridian employees.

electrical techniciansPreventative Maintenance – A Meridian technician is available to provide routine preventative maintenance for a wide variety of instrument devices. Meridian can suggest a maintenance schedule designed to give the maximum up time for control equipment at the lowest cost.

Demand Service – Meridian can provide an immediate response to an emergency situation. Our instrument technicians are always on call to fill a short-term need for manpower.

Instrument Repair – Meridian maintains a complete instrument repair shop at our Charleston, SC location. Experienced technicians working with state-of-the-art equipment test for servicing electronic and pneumatic instrumentation.

instrument techniciansStart-Up Services – Meridian can provide senior level instrument and electrical technicians to start-up a new facility. Our technicians are experienced in checkout of all devices and control equipment, including programmable controllers and distributed control systems.

Calibration – Meridian is equipped to calibrate most electronic and pneumatic instrumentation on-site or at our Charleston, SC facility.

European Panel Assembly - Meridian is equipped to handle PLC and Robotics. They are familiar with Standard U.S. and European drawings.

Installation Services

Meridian’s capabilities include instrument and control as well as primary and secondary electrical power systems. We use only journeymen level craftsmen with good to excellent work records on previous jobs. We have an experienced management staff including job superintendents, general foremen and foremen. We track each job, and progress reports are published as needed to indicate percentage completion, as well as other management information.
